World missions are at the very core of God’s heart because His desire is that all people, from every nation, tribe, and tongue, would know of repentance (that’s our part), His love and saving grace. Jesus’ final command before ascending to heaven was the Great Commission: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Missions reflect the heartbeat of Jesus, who came “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). When the Church steps beyond the walls of its building and reaches into the nations, it is joining in the very mission of Christ—bringing hope, salvation, and transformation to the world.

Out of the Box Church embraces this calling with a passion to serve the people of Guatemala, showing the tangible love of Jesus through action. From building homes for families in need to supporting networks of pastors and churches, we partner with local leaders to strengthen the body of Christ. Through annual pastors’ conferences, pastoral and children’s ministry supplies given, and building projects such as concrete floors, roofs, and children’s church buildings, we don’t just share the gospel in words—we demonstrate it through love, service, and sacrifice. Each act of giving, each food basket, each pair of boots for landfill workers, is a living testimony of Christ’s compassion.

Missions are not simply a program of the church; they are a reflection of God’s heart beating through His people. Every toy handed to a child, every prayer lifted over a family, every Bible verse spoken in a distant village is a seed of the Kingdom. Jesus Himself said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40). As we go, give, and serve, we aren’t just meeting needs—we are fulfilling the very desire of Jesus: that the nations would encounter His love and be drawn to Him. World missions allow us to partner with Christ in building His Kingdom across the earth, one life, one village, one family at a time.
